Bent Tree Forge was founded by Eric Gilleland, CJF, in 1991. Since then it has expanded to become a true Farrier Service, with a qualified team of farriers to better serve clients from Alpharetta to Athens, Georgia. We offer the gamut of custom & corrective shoeing for eventing, dressage & hunter jumper equines.

Our technique & philosophy is centered around the individual needs of each horse. Keeping them balanced, comfortable and sound for top performance and ALWAYS delivering professional and courteous service.

All Bent Tree Forge Farriers subscribe to the same shoeing principles and techniques that maintain consistency with our team. Among those principals are:

• Balance is unvarying. Either it is or it isn't!
• We don't believe in "fad" shoeing or trimming. We do believe in proven methods with years of experience and keeping current with our education.
• We must be horsemen/women to handle horses with respect and care, creating a positive shoeing experience.
